Adult Day Health Services in Smithfield, RI
Therapeutic Support
Choices for daily activities include individual classes for arts and crafts, social activities, music, baking, health and wellness, exercise, adult education, and various community trips and activities. Participants choose activities posted on our Monthly Calendar.
Nursing Services
Full-time Registered Nurses and Paramedics provide medication management, blood pressure and glucose level monitoring, and health and wellness management.
Clinical Nursing Assistant Staff
Multiple Clinical Nursing Assistants provide support to our Director of Nursing, including assistance with ambulation, transfers, toileting, and other activities of daily living needs.
Occupational Therapy
Referral-based services are provided onsite, including insurance benefits verification, treatment planning, therapeutic and maintenance intervention.
Group Exercise
We provide daily group exercise and therapeutic movement by a Certified Group Exercise Instructor.
Dietary Services
From our state-of-the-art culinary kitchen, fresh muffins, oatmeal, coffee, and tea are served for breakfast. Lunch is a freshly prepared, hot meal from our chef. Our balanced menu is constructed by a Registered Dietician.
Case Management
Our staff includes a team of professionals who are assigned to participants and manage their quarterly care plans and individual needs.
Access to Oral Health Care
For those individuals who are not currently seeing a dental professional, our Registered Dental Hygienist can arrange care through a local provider.
Transportation
Travel arrangements to and from our program will be arranged through State Medicaid Transportation Network at the onset of program participation.
Pet Therapy
We have a certified Pet Therapy dog, Chloe, who visits Generations on a regular basis.
